Fire Destroys Vacant Home In Cecil County

RISING SUN, Md. (WJZ) -- A fire destroyed a vacant home in Rising Sun Monday morning, the state fire marshal's office said.

The blaze broke out just before 7:30 a.m. in the 10 block of Taylor Drive. Firefighters put out the flames in roughly 30 minutes.

The fire marshal's office said the fire caused $75,000 in damage.

No injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
