HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A film festival in Hagerstown is growing.

The city's fourth annual Maryland International Film Festival opens Thursday night for a three-day run. More than 70 films will shown at venues that include the downtown library for the first time.

Three theaters are also showing movies.

Organizers are honoring local writer Nora Roberts, the author of more than 40 New York Times best-sellers.

Eleven of Roberts' books have been turned into films.
