Man Fatally Shot Near NW Baltimore Transit Station

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 32-year-old man was fatally shot near a metro stop in northwest Baltimore Monday afternoon, police said.

Officers were called to the West Cold Spring Metro Stop at 4300 Wabash Avenue at 2:08 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

Police on scene found the man with gunshot wounds. A medic responded to the location and took the victim to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.

The victim died from his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical personnel.

Homicide detectives and MTA police are investigating the shooting.
