Fatal Shooting In NE Baltimore The City's 200th Homicide

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Another grim milestone for the city. A fatal shooting in Northeast Baltimore is the city's 200th homicide of 2015.

It happened in the 2700 block of The Alameda near Kennedy Avenue.

Police found a man with gunshot wounds to his upper body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

August's 11th slaying pushed the city's homicide total to 200--a dramatic rise from 2014, when the city saw 211 killings for the year.
