Man Charged In Fatal-Hit-And Run Crash in Aberdeen

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Timonium man is charged with a hit and run crash in Harford county that killed a pedestrian.

Police say 45-year-old Lisa Waters of Aberdeen was crossing South Philadelphia Boulevard during a heavy downpour and was hit by the car driven by 48-year-old Bradley Piern.

Witnesses say Piern slowed down but did not stop.

He later called police to report that he may have hit something. Police say he was under the influence of alcohol. Piern is facing vehicular manslaughter charges.
