Fans Took To Twitter To Question Buck's 'Wild' Decision
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Freedom of speech reigns supreme when it comes to social media and last night, after the Orioles loss to the Blue Jays, #BuckShowalter was trending.
What it boiled down to for fans was choosing to blame the skipper for a poor decision in pitching, but to be honest, that wasn't the only thing going wrong for the Orioles last night. But, Twitter had spoken and many were calling for the firing of the Orioles manager.
Here are some responses to the 'wild' decision to use pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez over the near perfect saver, Zach Britton:
I woke up, showered, drove 36 miles to work and I'm still thinking about Buck Showalter not putting Britton in.

Buck Showalter just chose the save stat over optimizing his chances at extending his team's season. Absolutely must be fired. Unacceptable.

Buck Showalter is one of the best managers in baseball today. Anybody saying he should be fired doesn't watch baseball much.

Criticism of Buck Showalter is 100 percent valid. Talk of firing him is 100 percent garbage. #Orioles
