Ed Norris: Scherzer or Verlander?

Facing the Tigers' rotation is daunting given the fact they have the last three Cy Young winners on staff but it may not be as difficult for the Orioles as most other teams.

Verlander has been very tough with the Orioles batting just .185 as a team against him. Some of the big bats have struggled as well. Adam Jones is .182 lifetime against Verlander while Nelson Cruz has batted .200 However, game one with Max Sherzer on the bump paints a different picture. As a team the O's are .278 against him and the aforementioned tandem of Jones and Cruz are .500 and .381 respectively.

All I'm saying is don't buy into the national hype about how the Tigers are the better team in the series, and go O's.

Hopefully by the time we face Verlander the Orioles will be up one game to none.
