Ed Norris: Could Ray play in Western New York?

Our own Jason La Canfora (CBS NFL Insider) has reported that Ray Rice could be reinstated well before the Mueller investigation is completed. Maybe within a month. I for one am happy to hear that. Rice, despite being guilty of a domestic assault, seems to be paying a higher price than others in similar legal situations and I feel the reason is that the NFL handled the whole thing so badly in the first place that they overcompensated in his case.

Jason mentioned the possibility of Rice landing in Indy or New England but I have another team in mind. Having attended college in Western New York State ( University of Rochester) I developed an affinity for the Bills as I watched their games with buddies from that region. The Bills have been hit hard with injuries at that position with Fred Jackson out with a groin injury and C.J. Spiller out for the season.

Could the Bills have interest?

I certainly think so given the fact they are right behind the Patriots (5-2) with a record of 4-3. If Jason is correct about his return date, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he landed in Buffalo.
