Dundalk Man Rushed To Hospital After He Realizes He Was Shot

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) -- Police are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting that left a Dundalk man injured.

The victim said he was walking around New Pittsburg Avenue when he felt a "burning" in his lower body. He later realized that he'd been shot and he had someone drive him to the hospital.

Baltimore County Police arrived at the hospital where the man was being treated.

The incident is still in investigation by the Baltimore County Police's Violent Crimes Unit.

The victim is expected to survive his injury.
