Dundalk Man Charged With Impersonating Cop Now Charged In 2nd-Degree Rape

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County Police report a Dundalk man charged with impersonating a police officer and sexual offenses has now also been charged in the second-degree rape of a woman.

After police released details on the suspected crimes of 30-year-old Brian Keith Cooper Jr., a woman told police she was also a victim of Cooper's.

She told police on Aug. 1, 2015 the suspect approached her at Dundalk Avenue and Danville Avenue and asked for a "date."

She got into his car and he drove them to a dead end off Railway Avenue.

They exited the vehicle and then he demanded her to perform a sex act, threatening her with a knife.

Afterwards, Cooper left in his vehicle.

Cooper was charged on March 11 in this alleged rape.

He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

As a result of this investigation, he has been charged in connection with the assaults of a total of three women.
