Driver Who Fatally Struck Woman Arrested On Unrelated Hit-And-Run Incident

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—One woman was killed, another injured, after they were struck by a vehicle on Saturday morning.

It happened around 7:00 a.m. in the 2400 block of Bel Air Road.

Both women were transported for their injuries. Police 56-year-old Nacole Taylor, or Baltimore, died at the hospital.

According to authorities, the driver, 32-year-old Devin Matthews, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant from a previous hit-and-run incident.

Matthews is charged with driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of the accident, authorized use of a motor vehicle, among other charges. He remains behind bars at this time.

The crash remains under investigation.
