Driver Accidentally Backs Car Into Wicomico River

SALISBURY, Md. (WJZ) -- A car fell into the Wicomico River Tuesday.
Officials said the 55-year-old driver accidentally backed up into the river from the Anchorage Nursing Home side.
The driver suffered minor injuries.
Thanks to the quick thinking of an Anchorage Nursing Home employee, the 55 yo operator of this vehicle only suffered minor injuries as a result of accidentally backing into the Wicomico River from the Anchorage Nursing home side of the river. pic.twitter.com/AEXIbWdrmq

The vehicle had to be removed by a crane.
