Drew Nicholas On March Madness
Former Maryland Terp and current ESPN analyst Drew Nicholas joined Scott and Jeremy Monday to discuss the NCAA Tournament. Drew is known for the running 3 point shot he made as time expired over UNC-Wilmington in the 2003 NCAA Tournament.
First thing that Scott and Jeremy asked Drew was what was his intial reaction to Selection Sunday. "Pretty much as expected, I was a little surprised at Virginia getting that last number one seed. I also like that Midwest Region, I think its the toughest region of them all.
The conversation then shifted to the ACC Tourney and how strong the Virginia Cavaliers finished the season. "I thought offensively they weren't going to have enough to beat Duke in the final but Virginia just seems to plug away at it. They were very good at maintaining their course and running their sets."
And finally they got to who is on upset alert. "I like Harvard to upset Cincinnati."
