Dozens of Firefighters Battle Blaze At Hyattsville Shopping Center
HYATTSVILLE, Md. (WJZ)—More than 70 firefighters from surrounding counties battled a 2-alarm blaze after a business went up in flames on Sunday morning.
It happened around 7:00 a.m. in the 5400 block of Queens Chapel Road, in Hyattsville.
Prince George's County fire spokesperson Mark Brady says upon arrival heavy smoke could be seen from the 1-story strip shopping center.
More than 70+ firefighters from Prince George's and Montgomery counties responded to the scene.
Authorities say no one was injured in the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
