Downtown Guide Charged In Stabbing Of Homeless Man

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Two people, including a Downtown Partnership employee, have been arrested in connection to a stabbing incident in Downtown Baltimore on Thursday.

According to police, officers responded to the intersection of Bath and Davis streets around 7:20 a.m. for a report of a stabbing.

There they found a 48-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the victim was involved in an argument with two employees of the Downtown Partnership.

On Friday, Baltimore Police announced the arrest of Downtown Partnership employee Rodriguez Gipson, 38. He is being charged with first and second degree assault and assault with a deadly weapon

43-year-old  Adrian Franklin was also arrested and charged with second degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon with the intent to injure.

Police say a third person was arrested and released without officially being charged.
