Disabled Tractor Trailer Blocking Traffic On I-695
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A disabled tractor-trailer blocked traffic on the inner loop of I-695 Friday morning. Two left lanes are closed at Exit 29 Maryland Route 542 Loch Raven Blvd.
To recover the tractor-trailer, there will be a total inner loop I-695 closure beginning 10 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Sunday.
Traffic will be detoured from the inner loop I-695 onto Loch Raven Boulevard to a left turn on Joppa Road and a right turn onto southbound MD 41 and back to the inner loop I-695.
The right transition lane from northbound Loch Raven Boulevard to the inner loop of I-695 is currently closed. There are stop signs deployed at the top of the ramp, but MDOT SHA recommends motorists continue to Cromwell Bridge Road and use that interchange to access the inner loop of I-695.
