Detectives Continue To Investigate Fatal Montgomery County Stabbing

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (WJZ) -- Detectives continue to investigate a stabbing in Montgomery County.

Police responded to a home in the 24100 block of Pecan Grove Lane in Gaithersburg around 5 p.m. Saturday.

Inside, they found 55-year-old Russell David suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Officers also located 18-year-old Andrew David, the victim's nephew, at the scene. Investigators believe an altercation between the victim and suspect occurred in the residence.

Detectives continue to examine forensic evidence and are awaiting the medical examiner's findings.

No criminal charges have been filed.
