Derrick Mason Thinks The Terps Have Surprised The Big Ten In Their First Year

Derrick Mason is a former Ravens wide receiver, who played his college football at Michigan State in the Big 10. Derrick currently is an analyst in studio for the Big 10 Network.

Derrick joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Big 10 Conference and Maryland shockingly competing in the conference, and some NFL topics.

Derrick started talking about Maryland saying "they're pretty good this year, both their receivers are back this year and doing well...they're a surprising team no one thought they'd be able to compete in their first year." When asked about if the Big 10 is returning to power despite kids not wanting to play in cold weather Derrick said "Now a days because of tv contracts and what the universities are doing to their facilities some kids don't mind going up north or out east to play ball." Derrick also talked about the turmoil rumored to be going around the Seattle Seahawks locker room circling around their quarterback Russell Wilson.
