Career In Question After Pitta Undergoes Another Season-Ending Hip Surgery

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- An important piece to the Ravens offense is done for the season.

Tight end Dennis Pitta will miss the remainder of the season after dislocating his right hip as he fell in Cleveland on Sunday.

That's the same hip Pitta injured during the last training camp that sidelined him for most of last season.

Pitta signed a five-year, $32 million contract with the Ravens in March, but this injury has many questioning the practicality of his football career.

The Ravens will look to Owen Daniels and Kyle Juszcyk to fill the void on their offense.
