Demonstrator Arrested During 1st Hearing Of Freddie Gray Case

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—One man was arrested during Wednesday's protests as the first hearing was being held in the Freddie Gray case.

Police say 21-year-old Darius Rosebrough was arrested at the intersection of Calvert and Pratt Streets after police say he attempted to stop the free flow of traffic and falsely claiming to be struck by motorists.

He has been charged with second degree assault, disorderly conduct and giving a false statement to police.

Police say an officer sustained minor injuries as he attempted to remove the suspect from the scene.
