Democrat Anthony Brown Relying On Voter Turnout For Gubernatorial Win

BALTIMORE (WJZ)— The countdown is on! It's just four days left until voters cast their ballots for the next governor of Maryland, and Democrat Anthony Brown has a message for voters.

Political reporter Pat Warren has more on Brown's campaign.

It's been a more competitive race than many expected and the Brown campaign is relying on voter turnout to secure a win.

The world famous Lexington Market is stomping grounds for Democrats on the stump.

If you already voted and think you're done, you've got another think coming.

"Now what you need to do is get all your friends and family and make sure they vote on Tuesday," Brown told voters.

The lieutenant issues a call for volunteers.

"With Ken Ulman and Anthony Brown and Democrats around the state, we're going to be fighting for working families and middle class values, great schools, creating jobs and opportunities cause we believe Maryland's better days are ahead," Brown said.

Senators Ben Cardin and Barbara Mikulski joined Brown at the market.

"The energy, interest and enthusiasm is picking up, and it's turning our way," Sen. Mikulski said.

Just a reminder that early voting ended Thursday night, so you need to go to the polls Tuesday to cast your ballot.
