Death Of 90-Year-Old Found Beaten In Home Ruled A Homicide

BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore police say the death of a 90-year-old woman weeks after she was found beaten in her home has been ruled a homicide.

The department said in a news release Wednesday that on May 4, Mary Dicken-Hines was found beaten and unresponsive in her northwest Baltimore home.

Police say she was taken to a hospital, where she died on May 24. Investigators say on Aug. 10, the state medical examiner ruled Dicken-Hines' death a homicide caused by multiple injuries.
