Man's Death Saved 7 Lives

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --- A man was shot and killed in July 2007, but his death ended up saving seven people's lives.

Jordan Taylor Brown was murdered on his way home from a basketball game with friends three weeks after his 21st birthday on July 30, 2007.

After he died, Brown's family learned that he registered as an organ donor, which enabled him to save the live's of seven people.

Brown will represent Baltimore City and Maryland as a floragraph honoree on Donate Life America's Tournament of Roses parade float.

The parade will be held January 1, 2015 in Pasadena, CA.
