D.C. Police Arrest 2nd Suspect In 2007 Teen Killing

WASHINGTON (AP) -- District of Columbia police have arrested a second suspect in a 2007 fatal shooting of a teenager from suburban Maryland.

The Washington Post reports police arrested 24-year-old Maurice Pope of northeast Washington on Friday. He is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Terrence Fowler of Upper Marlboro, Md.

Fowler was short eight times in June 2007 in the Lincoln Heights area of northeast Washington over $400 he owed for a gun.

Last year, police charged Joshua Holifeld with first-degree murder in Fowler's death.
