DC Cherry Blossom Peak Bloom Date Moved, Now March 19-22
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Due to some colder weather that's been forecasted for this weekend, the National Park Service has changed its "peak bloom" predication for D.C.'s cherry blossoms.
The new "peak bloom" dates are March 19 through March 22.
BLOOM WATCH UPDATE - Due to colder than avg forecast temps this weekend, the cherry blossom peak bloom is now projected for March 19-22.

The previous dates were March 14 through 17.
The annual Cherry Blossom Festival is scheduled for March 15 through April 16.
