Anne Arundel County Firefighters Battle House Fire In Davidsonville

DAVIDSONVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel County firefighters worked to put out a house fire in Davidsonville Tuesday night.

Firefighters responded to multiple 911 calls about a fire in the 2000 block of Rosetta Way around 7:41 p.m.

When firefighters arrived, they found flames and smoke coming through the roof of the house.

Due to the amount of the structure on fire, the size of the home and the fact that it was located in an area without public water, firefighters had to call for a water supply taskforce and a second alarm.

88 firefighters from several jurisdictions brought the fire under control in a little over an hour.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
