David Modell Talks About The Impact Of The Donald Sterling Ban
Current attorney and former President and CEO of the Baltimore Ravens, David Modell joins Ed and Steve to discuss the impact of the banning of Clippers owner Donald Sterling.
Ed asks David how if the NBA feels that Sterlings comments were so egregious, why they didn't think that his whole past with his racist actions weren't considered so bad. David says that Sterlings does have a sketchy past and is known to have racist moments but since this came out into the public that it's a whole bigger issue.
Steve asks if in the NFL circle, are the owners and Roger Goodell going to have to look into the issues they have in their own league so something like this doesn't happen. David says that it's reasonable for the bar to be set high and with this Sterling ban it was set pretty much to the maximum.
