Dan Duquette Discusses 2016 Acquisition On The Hot Stove Show

Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette joined Jim Hunter and Roch Kubatko on the Hot Stove Show to discuss the recent acquisition of Mark Trumbo and how negotiations are going with free agents Chris Davis and Darren O'Day.

Jim Hunter starts the interview by asking about the talks with Chris Davis. "Everybody knows we're trying to sign Chris Davis. These prices are staggering!!" Davis finished the 2015 season with a .262 average while belting a league leading 47 home runs.

Everyone knows starting pitching is important to the success of any baseball team. When asked about the starting pitchers, Duquette replied "We need to upgrade our starting pitching by getting better performance from the people we have and also by adding to our rotation."
