Dad Accused Of Intentionally Crashing Car In Attempt To Kill Son

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Colorado man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after police say he intentionally crashed his car at 75 miles per hour while his infant son was unbuckled.

CBS Denver reports the crash happened on August 21 and the 2-year-old boy, Isaiah Weitzel, remains in an Aurora hospital.

Nathan Weitzel, 29, reportedly admitted to deputies at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office that he was trying to kill the boy in the crash because being a father is a big responsibility that he didn't think he could handle.
