Crews In Montgomery County Save Dog Stuck In Storm Drain

BETHESDA, Md. (WJZ) -- Montgomery County fire and rescue crews save a dog that was stuck in a storm drain.

Crews responded to the 7800 block of Lonsome Pine Lane around 2 p.m. Friday.

They had to remove the bars covering the drain to get the dog out.

Fortunately, the dog was freed uninjured.

The dog's owner was located, and officials learned "Cookie" had been missing since October of 2014.
