Crews Battle 2-Alarm Fire in Northeast Baltimore

Baltimore, Md. (WJZ) -- Fire crews were on the scene of two alarm fire that started Thursday night in Northeast Baltimore, according to Baltimore City Fire.

Fire officials tell WJZ it started around 9:45 p.m. in the 2700 block of Fenwick Ave. on the roof a vacant home.

The fire spread to three other homes, including one that was occupied, according to Baltimore City Fire. The family in that home was able to get out safely. Neighborhood services was on scene late Thursday night helping the family pack their belongings.

All homes appear to be destroyed. No one was injured in the fire.

Fire crews were still on scene as of 12 a.m. working to put the fire out. Due to the condition of the houses they were only able to battle the fire from the outside.
