Crash Involving 3-Wheelers Closes Two Lanes Of The Inner Loop

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A crash involving two "trike-style motorcycles" closed two lanes of the Inner Loop during rush hour traffic Tuesday.
According to Maryland State Police, the wreck happened around 2:45 p.m. on I-695 before the Wilkens Avenue exit.
Investigators say the motorcycles were riding together when the female rider braked suddenly, causing the male operator of the other motorcycle to collide.
Both riders, including the male who police say was unresponsive, were taken to Shock Trauma for serious injuries.
No other vehicles were involved.
All lanes reopened around 4:30 p.m.
