'Crab Leg Bandit' Shana Frundt Convicted Of Assault

ELDERSBURG, Md. (WJZ) -- A Carroll County woman known as the "crab leg bandit" will spend 18 months behind bars for attacking a grocery store employee.

Shana Frundt was convicted of assault. Back in August of last year, she walked out of the Martin's in Eldersburg with $230 worth of food.

When she saw an employee taking photos of her and her car, Frundt grabbed the worker to try to get their phone. She then got into her car and tried to run over the worker.

No one was hurt.
