Court: Adults Could Be Liable For Minors Who Get Drunk

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Maryland's highest court rules adults can be held liable for minors who get drunk inside their homes.

The Court of Appeals ruled in two lawsuits brought by victims of drunk driving incidents against adults who hosted parties that led to an underage guest becoming drunk.

The ruling found people under 21 are less able to make responsible decisions regarding alcohol.
