Cops: Man Stabs Wife's Ex At Greene Turtle, Arrested At Restaurant An Hour Later

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A man has been charged with first and second degree assault after police say he stabbed his wife's ex-boyfriend at the Greene Turtle in Crofton. He was later arrested at the restaurant.

Around 9 p.m. Sunday, Anne Arundel County officers responded to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center for a report of a stabbing victim that was in the emergency room receiving treatment.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the man, who said he had been stabbed by his ex-girlfriend's husband at the restaurant about an hour earlier.

When officers got to the restaurant, the suspect was still there.

Kenneth Whiting, 30, of Bowie, was arrested and charged.

The victim suffered several minor stab wounds to both arms and two stab wounds to his mid-section. He was treated and released from BWMC.
