Maryland Man Charged For Allegedly Setting Police Car On Fire Outside Supreme Court

WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- A Maryland man is facing charges for allegedly setting a police vehicle on fire outside of the Supreme Court in Washington D.C.

Cody Tarner, 22, of Hagerstown, Maryland, was identify by Metro Police on Friday.

Police say he was burned during the incident and remains hospitalized.

He is charged with federal destruction of property and other counts.

Tarner has not yet appeared in court.
