Club House Destroyed By Fire At Willow Springs Golf Course

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A fire broke out early Sunday morning at a golf course in West Friendship, completely destroying the clubhouse.

Howard County Fire and Rescue say it happened shortly after 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Firefighters and paramedics from the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services, were alerted for a building fire in the area of the 12900 block of Livestock Road, West Friendship at Willow Springs Golf Course.

HCDFRS says crews on the scene found a  two story building fully engulfed in flames, and more crews had to be called in from Carroll County and Sykesville Fire Departments.

The building was unoccupied and there were no reported injuries, though the clubhouse was a total loss.
