The chance of rain, storms increases across Maryland this week

Dry weather for Monday's Baltimore Ravens game

Under lots of clouds, temperatures are sitting in the mid and upper 60s across much of central Maryland this evening. 

Temperatures will continue to gradually cool overnight. We'll wake up to temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to lower 60s around sunrise. Monday begins with clouds and areas of fog, ahead of a bit more sunshine heading deeper into the day. 

The workweek begins dry on Monday in Baltimore

While the workweek does include a few opportunities for needed rain, Monday morning will remain dry. The first day of the workweek begins with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s across the Baltimore metro. Areas of clouds and fog are expected early in the morning. There will be a mix of sun and clouds into the afternoon.

A few showers are possible, especially west of Baltimore Monday afternoon and evening. Temperatures peak in the upper 70s and lower 80s late Monday afternoon. 

The chance of rain increases heading into Tuesday. 

Rain and storms are in the workweek forecast across Maryland

The first spike in the chance of showers and storms arrives Tuesday. 

The chance of wet weather will be greatest in the afternoon. though some wet roads are possible during the morning commute. Spotty rain is expected on Wednesday as well, followed by soggy weather Thursday into Friday. Between Monday evening and Friday evening, many neighborhoods will pick up more than an inch of rain. A few spots could get more then three inches of rain through the week - something we all need.
