Class-Action Lawsuit Filed Against NFL

Baltimore (WJZ) -- The NFL's inaugural Hall of Fame game gives the league a chance to showcase their newly acquired Hall of Famers as well as treat fans to the first preseason football game of the season.

On Sunday, fans were disappointed to learn that the game would be cancelled due to poor conditions on the football field. It forced the NFL to honor refunds for tickets paid for by the fans in attendance. And now, it appears that it may cost the NFL a lot more.

The lawsuit isn't without merit. Fans flew from all over the world to watch the preseason game and were unable to do so due to an error by the NFL. History suggests the league will find some way to make it up to the fans that attended the game. But for now, this issue certainly doesn't bode well for the image of the league.
