City Police Investigating Separate Homicides in East and West Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- City police are investigating a pair of separate homicides that occurred Friday night.

First, at around 9:05 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Mello Court, where they discovered a 43-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Shortly after being transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, the victim died of his injuries.

The second investigation occurred at about 9:16 p.m., when police responded  to the 2600 block of Reisterstown Road for a reported shooting. Officers didn't find anyone at the scene but found evidence of a discharging.

A short time later, two victims walked into separate hospitals with gunshot wounds. One of the victims, a 25-year-old man, died at Sinai Hospital.

The second victim, a 32-year-old man, sustained non-life threatening injuries.
