2 Children Killed in Southeast Baltimore House Fire

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Two kids are dead tonight after a row home in the 600 block of Clinton Street went up in flames.

One witness said she'd just seen the mom moments before.

The call came in around 8:50 p.m. The fire chief says a third adult was also injured.

Arson investigators are on the scene, standard procedure when there are fatalities.

The victims have not been identified but one neighbor says a mother and her kids lived in the home and she'd just seen the mother moments before the fire.

The two kids who died were both boys age 9 months and 3 years old and were found on the second floor. The woman who was transported to is mom. But she's expected to survive.

Two other kids were in the house but managed to get out, they are ages 2 and 5.

The chief told WJZ the cause is being investigated.
