Christian Walker Joins Scott and Jeremy After His Major League Debut
Rookie first baseman and friend of the show Christian Walker joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn and Femi Ayenbadejo to talk about his recent call up to the big leagues. Scott asked what it was like to finally reach his goal. "Yeah it's awesome it's such a good feeling to make it to this level and stay here and perform and do what it takes."
A player's first major league is always a special moment, Christian said it was an adjustment. "You know it's just the same game but everyone's better. So I'm just slowing it down and trying to get to know the pitcher and trying to find tendencies just the same stuff."
The Orioles are known for being a light-hearted club house; Walker said his fit in really well. They have been awesome. Yesterday no has hesitated to come up and say hello and welcome me to the team. You know it's just a real great group of guys a lot of fun. They keep it light and hopefully I can just learn a lot from them."
