Chris Davis' Slump Reaches New Heights Of 0-For-24

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Orioles first baseman Chris Davis went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts on Tuesday night against the Colorado Rockies, extending his hitting slump to 0-for-24 over the last seven games. Davis has also felt the heat of 11 strikeouts over the same stretch.

He did have the flu last week, which reportedly "was tough" and that might have effected his recent performance, but he hasn't hit since July 16.

However, even though Davis has had a hard time with clicking, he is walking 13.5 percent of the time, the highest of his career.
