Children Were Playing With Matches In Deadly Clinton Street Fire

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Children playing with matches caused the fire that killed brothers 3-year-old Nigel Ramires and 9-month-old Exekial Ramires last week, according to the Baltimore City Fire Department.

The fire broke out at the North Clinton Street home Wednesday night.

Both children died of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.

Another pair of Baltimore siblings died in a fire on Saturday.

A 90-year-old woman also died after a fire broke out on her Denison Street home late Saturday.
