2 Children Killed, Woman And Another Child Injured In Essex Crash
ESSEX, Md. (WJZ) — Two children, a 5-year-old and a 6-year-old, are dead after they were struck in Essex Monday afternoon.
Four people, including another 9-year-old child, was hit by a vehicle in Essex Monday afternoon, police said.
Police have confirmed the four involved is a mother and her three children.
Five-year-old Jhalil Norris and six-year-old Jovanni Norris were both pronounced dead Monday.
The mother and the nine-year-old are still in critical condition at local hospitals.
The crash happened around 4:10 p.m. at Eastern Boulevard and Orville Road. Police said a BMW was heading west on Eastern Boulevard when it hit the four pedestrians.

Police said the driver remained at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
