Child Killed, Multiple Injured In Hyattsville Crash Involving Motorcycle

HYATTSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- A 7-year-old child has died following a crash on the 3500 block of East West Highway in Hyattsville.

Police say a motorcycle was traveling westbound toward the entrance to the Prince George's Plaza Mall when it collided with a 4-door sedan.

The motorcycle then hit 3 pedestrians- two adults and one child.

All three were taken to a local hospital where the child was pronounced dead.

Prince George's County Police identified the child as Alejandro Santos of Greenbelt.
