Boys, 9 & 14, Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash in Baltimore County

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A child was among three people injured after a harrowing crash in Baltimore County that happened when a driver who fled from a traffic stop slammed into another vehicle on Monday, authorities said.

The driver of an Infiniti was pulled over by an officer in Woodlawn about 5:47 p.m. when he suddenly took off, according to police. Minutes later, the officer located the driver at the scene of a crash in the 6800 block of Brompton Road.

The Infiniti struck a black Nissan, which went careening into a tree, police said.

Paramedics rushed the Nissan's driver, a 32-year-old man, and his passengers, ages 9 and 14, to the hospital with serious injuries.

The 26-year-old man driving the Infiniti was treated for minor injuries. He faces a list of traffic and criminal charges.
