Cottle's Bayhawks (3-6) is currently at the bottom of the standings in the MLL, sitting four games behind Denver (7-2) for first place.
Despite the subpar record, his team's recent win against the Florida Launch has Cottle feeling confident moving forward.
"I think we've turned the corner on effort, we've turned the corner on enthusiasm, and this was the best game that we had execution wise all year."
The Bayhawks have been more aggressively offensively of late, recording their fourth straight game of at least 50 shots on goal.
