Environmental Protection Agency Responds To Chesapeake Bay Cleanup Criticisms

WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- The Environmental Protection Agency is criticizing local leaders for questioning its commitment to cleaning up the Chesapeake Bay.
In a letter sent to Senator Chris Van Hollen, the EPA says a cleanup plan isn't binding and officials do not directly regulate pollution sources.
This comes in response to claims from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Governor Larry Hogan that the EPA isn't doing enough to cut down on pollution from Pennsylvania.
