Chaz Roe Joins Scott & Jeremy To Discuss His Journey To The Majors

Baltimore Oriole relief pitcher Chaz Roe joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn today.
Chaz has had a long journey before finding success in the majors after finding himself in and out of different systems around the MLB over the past 10 years.

Chaz was asked if he ever felt discouraged and thought about finding a different career path after struggling for so long, "Absolutely, there were plenty of times where I looked at myself and thought its time to go back to school and get a degree and go on with life. I talked to my parents and they kept pushing me and eventually it worked out for me."

The guys asked Chaz what his turning point was this season before getting called up. "It usually takes me a little bit for me to get started in the spring. Then about halfway through it started clicking for me. I went to Norfolk, had a couple rough starts in the beginning and then I started throwing a lot more quality strikes and I knew I had a chance if something happened up here if they needed me."
